Hello, I'm the chef at Taste of India. Last week, I read the reviews, and in one of them, I noticed that a customer had complained that we didn't serve halal food. As a result, I had to tell my dear customers that we do serve halal food because where we live, there is a Muslim community that frequents our restaurant and a mosque in Midland where we also provide catering. And I shared some images demonstrating that we provided halal cuisine.

Loved the cozy vibe and nice atmosphere. The waiters were super quick to come and ask for our order and the food came pretty quickly too! I like to try every Indian restaurants butter chicken and this one was divine, just like my grandmother's recipe. If you like Indian food, this one is a must-visit!
Please see the photo from video if I can post it. This is just one maggot of many in my food. Yes, going to make report to Health Department. Yes, going to see an attorney. It's inexcusable. I don't care what type of maggot or larvae this is: it does not belong in any restaurant. What circumstances exist that would end up with these in my takeout order?

The main dish we order is always good but they mess up our order every time. I always try to order samosa as an appetizer & they give me this chick pea, onion & pepper slop that is by far the worst thing I ever had in my life. Ruins my entire day every time. Even tho the other food is good. Sad bc this is the only Indian place in town. We’ve given it many chances but we always order take out bc the actual restaurant smells too strongly of chlorine. Idk. I really tried. Won’t be ordering from here again.Vegetarian options: Barely any vegetarian fare in Odessa in general so it’s nice to be able to have something. Too bad I won’t be back.

This is a perfect spot to come and eat. The staff was very friendly and quick on their feet. The lamb is to die for very flavorful and tender. The garlic Naan and lamb stuffed Naan was excellent. Being in a hotel my expectations were low I can't lie, but everything was superb and decently priced will be back soon!
