Placed a DoorDash pickup order at about 6pm, it was promptly canceled but not before my card was charged for over $100, which was what I had spent at this restaurant. And it will be several days before that hold on my bank act will be lifted. Called the restaurant and was told they were out of one of the meats I had ordered, asked if that was all they were out of and was told they were running low on lots of the other items I had ordered and they were trying to make sure there dine in customers were taken care of?? So I guess because I called for a pick up order I wasn’t a customer?? Not sure about the food as I wasn’t able to order, but not the way to establish a first impression and I won’t be giving this establishment my business because of this treatment.

Best bbq in Odessa by far ribs are my favorite but can’t go wrong with any of the meats a must try

Some of the WORST barbeque I have had in my life. The meat was just ok but the sides were like they had been in the fridge for a week or so. Everything seemed stale. Sucks spending $47 for this.

They never have anything rude workers why be open if y'all don't have anything that on y'all's menu
I went there just for a peach cobbler and a drink I was told there were no large lids so I changed to a smaller drink then I waited forever while 4 or 5 people behind me got their full meals...then one of the ladies informed me there were lids and then another one got me a peace cobbler from somewhere in the back which I later couldn't eat because it was rotten on the verge of molding and I was still charged for the large drink while getting a smaller size....

I have been wanting to try HEB bbq for a long time and today I got my chance. I'm sure the quality varies significantly from store to store and day to day. It wasn't the worst I've ever had, not even close. It was decent. It did not look or taste as if it was fresh. I came in at 12:30 there were about 20 or so eating lunch. The brisket was very dry and was hard to eat until I bathed it in bbq sauce. Would I give them another chance?Yes, particularly since I had read such good reviews about their bbq but not anytime soon.
I ordered the 24 pk and 3 Gallons of tea to feed 20 people for $405.00, and it was perfect. At first I didn't think it was gonna be enough but it was plenty. I had it delivered to my job and they were on time, they did not forget anything. Thumbs up to the BBQ crew in Odessa Texas, Thank you ?
