Omelet was flat with unmelted shredded cheese hanging out, all with very little flavor. Hash browns were burned on the top but under-cooked on the bottom. My whole meal was room temperature and greasy. I used a napkin to take some grease off the top of the omelet. Overall just unappealing. Yes, friendly wait staff but that can't carry a completely unappealing breakfast. $32 for two for breakfast so a little pricey for subpar food.

We had such a wonderful experience at Jerry’s Restaurant in Onalaska, TX! I ordered the catfish po’ boy, and it was incredibly fresh — the bread was soft and flavorful, and the tartar sauce on the side was perfect. We also enjoyed a basket of warm biscuits with their white country gravy, and let me tell you… amazing.
I couldn’t resist ordering the fried green tomatoes (because I love them), and they did not disappoint — crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My husband got the chicken fried steak, and of course I had to try a bite… it was excellent.
Our two picky eaters gave their full approval to the jumbo burger and popcorn chicken, which says a lot!
The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly, and everything came out hot and fresh. I grabbed two slices of pie to go, and even after running errands, they held their shape perfectly — and tasted just as amazing when we finally got home.
Highly recommend Jerry’s if you’re looking for a satisfying, home-style meal that hits the spot!
