JOHNNY'S LAKEFRONT KITCHEN + BAR

This 5* review is based on the service by our server Cindy and my meal which was fish and chips. I had the fried Cod and a ceaser salad. ( Although the ceaser dressing was not what I remember from my last visit, it seamed more vinegary than the last time I was there. (Johnny Did you change your dressing?)The fish was delish as always. It was a huge helping and I left full and satisfied.My husband is leaving a 1 * for his pizza that he ordered. The white pizza was too thin, no sauce, basically just pizza crust and a light layering of cheese. I told him to send it back , but he didn't want to make a scene. He said it was just like a quesadilla. He ate it but really didn't enjoy it. This was our first time ordering pizza there.Since this is my personal review I'm leaving a 5* I was happy with my fish and chips.Cindy was really sweet and took very good care of us.Johnny the owner has an attitude that I'm not used to, He kinda rubbed me the wrong way but the regulars all seemed to laugh and shrug it off, I don't mesh well with some who are sarcastic, but that's me.

My son and I dined there tonight for the first time. I had Spaghetti and meatballs which was very good. My son ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sub. He said it would have been great but was just a little too salty.Cindy was our server and she was great. She was very nice and came back several times to see if we needed anything. All considered we had a nice dinner and will be back.

Great lunch and great service. Vivian, my server was especially attentive and very nice. I will definitely be back.

Food was better than expected. They seem to promote themselves as an Italian restaurant but there wasn't a ton of Italian options. With that being said, the five of us ordered four different items and they were all pretty good. Most entree items were priced lower than average compared to other restaurants and the portions were reasonable. Our server Vivian went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We'll be back.

I’ve been here several times with my husband and I had 2 girlfriends come for lunch with me 1 day last week and got Fish and chips ! They were amazing ! My husband and I got the Chicken Alfredo pizza and he got their Burger . It was all great . We highly recommend this Restaraunt .

It was a 5 star experience. I am a buffet king. The food was hot and delicious. I ate so much I didn't get to try the pasta manira. Next time because I will be back. My server Vivian was the best. My tea glass was never empty and my dirty plates where gone ever time I came back to my table. Now too you Johnny. You run a good clean ship. I appreciate what you do. Keep up the great job. And yes I will be back. Thank you.

So many mixed reviews so we decided to go ourselves. New to the area and looking for a new spot.Vivian was our server, she was polite, and explained our menu options. We had pizza and wings with awesome garlic knots.Food was really good, Margarita was good as well.For our 1st time, and a Sunday afternoon, the place was not crowded at all.We will be back!!

From the hostess to the waitress too the cook, Jonny's is a outstanding place. Out waitress Vivian was attentive, fast, and answered all questions easily. The cook should be given a raise as the food was some of the best in the area. Best shrimp I have had in years. Only one suggestion. I recommend a senior menu or half serving as some elderly cannot eat so much and rate dishes by spiciness. But taking left overs home is great too. Thanks to all

Don't let this location fool you! Amazing food! Vivian and Taylor gave great service! Matt, Marcus and Keegan cooked our food to perfection! This was our first time, but definitely not the last. We started with the calamari and we were pleasantly surprised with the addition of sliced peppers. The marinara sauce was flavorful and rich tasting. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. Great flavor, not processed meat like most places and the onion rings were perfectly battered. My husband chose the seared salmon and it was delicious! Highly recommend!! Of all the restaurants in the entire area, this is by far the best! We will be regular customers, thank you!

Just want to start off with great tasting food! Not only was the food great but the staff was even better! 3 ladies I believe Vivian Taylor and haleigh constantly made sure my order was perfect and had a good experience which I did! Great small talk and even took interest in my personal hobby!

My husband and I had a sunset dinner on the patio here a couple nights ago. The owner was the one who took us to our table. Our server was Vivian. Our drinks were great....a Cosmo for me and a Whiskey Sour for the husband. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak Sandwich and I had the Baked Lasagna. He raved about his sandwich. My lasagna was good, not outstanding. There was a bit too much cheese for my liking and some of the noodles were difficult to cut through. The garlic knots, however, were to die for! We also splurged and shared a slice of cheesecake which was yummy. Vivian was so sweet! She did a great job with our order and provided us with great service. We truly hope Johnny's stays open for a long time to come.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about; maybe just some folks that think they deserve to be treated like royalty no matter where their station in life really falls! We had dinner and drinks there tonight. The service was great! Food was excellent!!! We had the spicy shrimp appetizer, seared salmon, and Italian Cream Cake; it was excellent! The service was great!; Taylor was a great, very attentive server!!! We highly recommend Johnny's On The Lake in Onalaska!!!
