I met my wife here almost 5 years ago. Was just supposed to be hanging as friends, ended with us side by side every since!!!! Great atmosphere, friendly service, amazing people. Only bad thing was the third wheel that came with us. But we got ride of her and had a great night.
Parking: This place is a part of Onalaska history. Where good people meet and also makes unlikable people tolerable. Thumbs up for me and my wife.

Had an opportunity to go to Vern's this past Saturday with the Mrs. We were in there for about an hour sitting at the end of the table next to the dance floor when it was noted that a couple of gents at a table with some local girls a few tables across from us was giving me the eyeball treatment. One of the gentlemen (one extremally overweight 350+ dude) started to point to me while pointing at the door. Wife had some bad vibes and did not want me to deal with the PoPo if I challenged him so we left. Good Bar... some not so good people inside! Never will make this a place to visit again!

Long darh haired bartender lady was literally the worst bartender I have EVER dealt with. We walked in. She just gave us a stink eye and never greeted us or said she would be with us in a minute or anything. About five minutes later she finally walked over and just said IDs. She looked at mine handed it back then looked at my BF and its an Arkansas DL and without saying anything she just walked over to the front door and started typing numbers in. We got up and he asked for his DL back and she didn't give it to him so he just had to grab it out of her hand and we walked out. I will never go back to this bar. We haven't been to a bar in yearssss but this was by far the worst expert I have EVER had.
