I’d give zero stars if I could. Server never checks on you. Food tasted like crayons. There was barely anything in the taco, enchiladas were tiny. Ordered chili con queso and literally just got a spoonful of generic queso. 5 star reviews have to be friends or family cuz there’s no way this place would ever get above 2 stars. The “meal” wouldn’t even qualify as an appetizer. Just as hungry leaving as I was coming into the building.

This restaurant was highly recommended by the locals of Palacios. We drove out here from Galveston and would make the trip back to support the community and enjoy the delicious food. The food is priced very reasonable and flavorful. We had the chicken fried streak and the #10 and would suggest the tamales and enchiladas for lunch/dinner. Restaurant was also kept clean and organized.

Meh. Food was okay, service was okay and atmosphere was okay. For a small town with not much variety, it'll do. Definitely better than the other Mexican restaurant. Cheap beers and margaritas ($4). The red sauce given with the chips is watery with an after bite. The green sauce is different, not spicy at all. Would return with low expectations.

I come here for the quail. If you want a tender flavorful quail to eat this place does them well. The beans are wonderful also. They can be a hit-and-miss on some of the other meals. Some enjoy it and others don't. Everyone will agree though that the quail are tasty. Service is good. Very attentive. Always making sure your glass is full and if you don't need anything.
There were a few of us who ordered carnitas. It was not carnitas that I have ever had. They had Onions, mushrooms, and peppers mixed in, the meat stewed. One person had asada tacos, and they said they weren't good either. It's not my type of food, especially for the price.

This place is absolutely unprofessional and rude! Learn some respect. Didn’t get her name but the little girl who I’m assuming was a food runner or server of some sort was the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met.
Love Mi Casa. I stopped in (after a long stint in California) craving straight up crispy ground beef tacos and jeez, they were perfect! The rice, beans (I got the meal), chips and salsas were just absolutely delicious! It was close to closing time but they were so gracious, and everything was piping hot and fresh, including the super thin chips and taco shells.Don't miss out, this place HITS!!

Went here on a Sunday for dinner. With most places closed on Sundays in Palacios we were happy to find an open restaurant. It was relatively busy, but not uncomfortably packed. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was solid tex-mex cuisine. Would come here again.

The salsa that we got with the chips at the beginning were very flavorful. And that's where the flavor ended. There's absolutely no flavor in anything on anybody's dish. Would not recommend.

We were disappointed to find out that this restaurant was no longer a Los Cucos. It was our very favorite Tex-Mex spot in Matagorda County. Mi Casa's food didn't compare at all. The green sauce was runny and the salsa too spicy (I have lived in Texas for over 30 years so not new to what is good salsa). The waitress acted like she was doing us a favor to take our order. They were not busy but took quite a while to get our order.
