If you want real old school TEXAS style BBQ David's is the place to go! Every meat on the menu is succulent with true BBQ flavor. Their Potatoe salad & coleslaw is mouthwatering, and I love the fact they have warm BBQ sauce waiting for you. I had a turkey sandwich which was sliced to perfection and melted in your mouth. Not a slab of thick hard to chew turkey like some other BBQ places. Whenever I'm in Arlington I stop in at David's for I always feel like I'm home.

To me, David’s Barbecue is the best anywhere. My nephew and I were there recently and heard a man at another table say he lived about 30 mi. away, but the BBQ was so good and the portions so unbelievably generous, he was going to come back, in spite of not living anywhere nearby.My nephew and I just smiled and told the man, “It’s always that way.”

I saw on the Facebook group Arlington Talks that this place was highly recommended so I tried it. Everyone is right! I had the chopped beef sandwich, potato salad and okra. Everything was amazing. Service was exceptional! They greet you with a smile like they are genuinely happy that you came in. The nice lady at check out was very personable. I will be going back for sure!

We love to go to David's. If you want the largest meat filled sandwich then this is the place. You could probably share your sandwich & get a couple of sides. It's just an old fashioned restaurant/cafe style but it's worth your time. And to top off your meal they offer free ice cream cones.
Best BBQ hands down. Never disappointed. They also have VERY underrated turkey!! You are always greeted with warm and polite employees that take pride in their store. The food is reasonably priced, and portions are extremely generous. And there's a soft serve machine!

Great family bbq restaurant. The walls are covered in signed pictures and served is good cafeteria style. Super fun place. Best part is the ice cream cone at the end! The staff are so kind. They sliced my girls extra cheese to eat. Now to the food, all the meat was good. I liked the ribs best. The sides were ok. I wish there was a potatoe or something else as an option. The ice cream cone at the end was great and the toast was great tooo!! There's also a drive thru which I thought was cool for a BBQ. Definitely check this place out!!
