This is a family-owned and operated small restaurant where the husband and wife team pour their heart and talent into the food. I had the chicken stew and my husband had the beef stew. Both were tender and delicious. They bake bread for Fridays and Saturdays so I’m making sure to go back then. They are expanding into a bakery as well as a restaurant. I fear their inner corner location isn’t giving them the street attention they deserve. It’s worth the drive to Pantego to eat at this gem of a place.

Everything we tried was very delicious - plantain soup, sorullitos, alcapurrias, stewed meat with mamposteao, breaded breast, mofongo with shrimp. Recommended!!!

So hard to find Puerto Rican food in the DFW area!! This place def satisfied my cravings. Minus one star because the service was very slow but other than that- everything was great. The bacalaitos & mofongo were phenomenal AND they have Malta!
