The atmosphere is very unique! Lots to look at and definitely a tribute to the arm forces. There is lots and lots memorabilia on the walls. The food is always fresh and never wait for a table. The food is delicious and everyone is so nice!! I highly recommend

Purchased the Grandma Pizza for dinner to go. It was excellent with lots of flavor and tasted very fresh. Thought it was well worth the price. Would definitely recommend it and I would go back there again. The employees were very friendly too!

Pizza is good and decently priced. Other menu items are way overpriced. The pasta tastes cheap, and the salads are okay, but 21 dollars for a chicken ceasar salad is way too high. They also don't seem to follow the posted hours. I have often tried to call in an order around 8:15p with no answer, so I'll drive up to place a to-go order in person just to find the doors are locked by 8:30p. Wait staff just look at you like deer in headlights when you knock lightly knock on the door. Guess the owner doesn’t want late night sales, or they want to go home early after cleaning for the last 30 minutes. Overall a decent place to eat every once in a while. Not reliable for food past 8pm on a Saturday from my experience.

We went to Sals and had a large pepperoni pizza. It’s been years since I’ve been here. I must say I have been missing out! I forgot how unique and delicious the pizza is. It just taste better than most pizza places. Perfect pizza. The calzone was on point too. Just as good. So satisfying and the staff is great. Clean place. Highly recommend.

Dervice and atmosphere are great and food was good. My wife had lobster ravoli and i had baked ziti. The wife said hers was good mine was good also the sauce on the ziti was tasty it just needed more baked cheese on it.

Salad was the only dish that I finished. The shrimp Alfredo was far from the $26 I paid for it. Bland and sauce was more runny than I would have liked.
My wife said her Chicken from the chicken Parma was good but noodles tasted a bit... wierd. Couldn't put my finger on what was wrong with it. Had an aftertaste.
Atmosphere was great.. service was great. If the food matched we would be back.

I was really hoping for a great experience. After reading all the reviews I decided I had to grab some for myself. The atmosphere was great and the lady who took my order was super nice. The food on the other hand was a total let down. For the $50 plus dollars spent to only hace to discard the food was disappointing. The Chicken parm was way over cooked and tasted old. The spaghetti was undercooked and bland. The appetizers were bland as well. The only part of my meal I was able to finish was the salad which tasted great . I really hope you take the time to read this and make changes

Tried a random new place to eat tonight. I was in Pantego, so the closest Google search result won the draw. I landed at Saljo's Italian Cuisine for dinner where I selected the most standout item on the menu.
I first started with some Fried Mozzarella Sticks accompanied by some Marinara and Ranch to appease my hunger. Meanwhile the kitchen was preparing Mama's Crustless Pizza for my entrée. I thought it might be a pizza without edge crust. No, it was the pizza without any crust, including the bottom. I guess if you're going keto, this might be the ticket.
The mozzarella was battered and fried crispy. The ranch was my choice of dip. The crustless pizza was different but delicious using bread to sop up the pizza sauce. It was meaty and flavorful but a little dangerous while the cheese was still hot.
They didn't have regular sweet tea. Instead, they had a Raspberry tea that was sweet enough. Overall, a pleasant meal and unique Armed Forces decor throughout the restaurant. The service was excellent and courteous. I would love to try more sampling of their menu.
