To be fair I’ve loved Catfish King since I was a kid so I may be biased, but when a place serves the same great tasting fish, shrimp and sides for over 40 years it probably deserves to be rated high. For a fast food service catfish joint you won’t find better. The food was great, as always, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect! Give it a try!
My husband and I have been going to Catfish King for many years for takeout. We live in the county and it's a good drive to town. The food is excellent!! Today was quite a let down though. We ordered two special catch dinners with baked potatoes and wo pecan pie . When we drove back home, we found that they left out the pie that we had paid for. We really missed the pie, and can't afford to give money for something that we didn't receive. We will continue to go...

The food is delicious. From the shrimp and catfish, to the hushpuppies, beans, and slaw. I havent tried the chicken fried steak or chicken, but i dont doubt they are delicious as well.
