Bought an order of gizzards because they were outta chicken attendant said they were fresh they were tough and over cooked! Went back up told him ordered 2 piece dinner which was fresh and good he didn't even care I couldn't eat his gizzards!

Oh goodness, I don't want to bash this place too harshly as we were hungry and travel weary, and this was a welcome change from convenience store food. However, oh boy, the food was terrible. Just Terrible. It looked like it had been sitting there for awhile, it was a bit crusty, reminded me of when you were in school in a cafeteria line and picked something and they slopped it on a plate, and the taste....oh boy....no just no. I can honestly say this is my first and last time I will come to Chester's. My husband agrees. The prices were quite high too for the quality of the food. I feel bad because the employee was really nice so I tried to be fair with scoring.

So disappointed. Ordered an 8 piece chicken, was charged for an extra thigh. When questioned, clerk couldn't tell me why. No manager available, so I just told them to give me the extra piece. Was given a wing. Got home, found I was given 6 wings and 3 breast pieces. Chicken was so tough we could barely chew it. $20, poor quality, poor service.

Today 01/14/2023. There was no chicken to order, and it was early afternoon. No boneless wings, no regular wings, no gizzard, it was as though they were closing at 4 pm.

$9.99 for four small, non-seasoned, dried out chicken strips...only chicken strips. They weren't even trimmed...they had nasty excess fat under the breading. Never will I ever step in another Chester's again. Worst chicken place I have ever visited.
