If you’re anywhere near the Paris area and want catfish this is the place to go. Been going here since the ‘80s and have never been disappointed. The fish is fresh and hot, never greasy, the slaw is excellent, hush puppies are very good, and tomato relish is the best I’ve had. Service has always been polite and prompt without the feeling you’re under surveillance.
This restaurant has become my cousin & I favorite spot to eat at whenever we come to town for the Dangerfield Reunion. It's our annual tradition. We get the all you can eat catfish dinner and it's always a hit. They even allow us to bring our own loaf of white bread in with us so we can make fish sandwiches. The service is always friendly. Check them out next time you're in Paris, Tx.
This has the feeling of your old fish camp and the quality matches. I wasn't a fan of the coleslaw but only because I have northern taste buds 😅 the pickled tomatoes were delicious as well as the hush puppies and catfish 🤤🤤🤤 the all you can eat catfish lived up to the advertisement, never had to request more, just turn it down when I couldn't hold any more
