Kroger Deli

Awful experience. The older lady in the bakery was friendly and the manager was kind in passing. That is where the buck stops. All other employees not friendly. No produce bags available. I specifically went early this morning (before 8am on Saturday), to avoid the crowd. Living in the country I shop in bulk every few months to avoid constant trips to the store. The associates that work in the deli section need additional training on how to interact with people and multitask. I waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged while 3 girls worked behind the counter and focused on giving an employee items for a pickup order before ever greeting me with "what can I get for you". Only 1 of the girls was getting items for the pickup. They are never friendly and always act annoyed when I ask for anything in the deli and this is not a first time occurrence.

For 31 years I have shopped at Kroger's spending thousands and thousands of dollars. their meat and produce everything always wonderful; people always so kind. tonight for the first time I went in and not one single human cashier was working. they had eight self checks open. four were credit card only, I had cash.
