The bakery was super busy & could have used one more person at the front to keep the line moving.

Overpriced cold food with limited options. Food was just out on a tray and so when we arrived about 12:45 pm those in line ahead of us purchased many of the options which weren't replenished & the pizza was dry and cold for $5/piece. The tomato soup looked and tasted like marinara sauce, which helped the dry and cold pizza. I wouldn't visit here again.

This place is amazing for breakfast or lunch!! The almond croissant was phenomenal. The atmosphere is so unique and comfortable. I love bringing people here from out of town for it is a true Downtown Paris Texas staple!!

if you notice most of the reviews for the bakery are great and the place is, but notice the newest post most say food good but service is lacking. The girls are not friendly, they don't keep up with orders. I was even chewed out by the owner Kip for making one of his girls cry because I asked about my food because others ordered 10 minutes after me and ordered the same food and got theirs but I didn't get mine. Problem was the lady that ordered before me was the one that made her cry because she had called in an order the day before and it still wasn't ready. I had my wife and two grandkids with me so I as on my best behavior. And what's crazy is the girl that was upset didn't know but I saw her laughing with another employee about how upset the lady was. She was not crying at all. Service is the problem here. And the help that has been there the longest, good luck if you can get her to smile.

I think it overpriced for what you got typical bakery/ soup&salad eatery. I don't know if I will return. If I do it will be to buy their bread. Nothing else!!

Just stopped in for a bagel, but it was fabulous!

I drive over an hour to eat there! I buy their bread and croissants and freeze them. It’s like the real deal. If you have been to France their products are equally delicious! Adorable atmosphere and all around a delight!

I visited the bakery for the first time today. I was needing some pastries for a few of my in town clients. The bakery is very cute and had a very calm vibe. I was greeted by one of the workers that seemed like a manager or owner. She was able to accommodate my very last minute requests to create a few variety boxes. I also grabbed an iced latte that was pretty good. When the other worker rang me up and told me the total it seemed to be higher than I calculated but I assumed it was correct and went ahead and paid. I then asked for the receipt and she seemed to hesitate but asked if I would like it by email or text. Once I received the text and reviewed the receipt I noticed there was a $22 line item added as “add tip”. There were a few other people waiting behind me so I didn’t go right back to her to ask her why that was added. I decided I would wait for the other worker to bring my items. I thanked her for helping me out but then asked if they add a policy to add an auto 20% tip to all of their walk in orders. She said no that wasn’t the policy but tried to say depending on the order size. My total was approx $120 which was for 15 cupcakes, 6 slices of pie, and 7 loaves of banana bread. Keep in mind all of these items were already made, they just needed to be placed in boxes and bagged up. I have no issue leaving a tip but charging an auto tip and at almost 20% for a walk in order is quite egregious. The employee did ask if I wanted it returned and I told her no as it would cause an issue for my expense reporting to get reimbursed from work. I do feel like I was taken advantage of and I’m not sure what it was based on but definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. I even paid tax on the tip because it was added as a line item to my subtotal. To have a cash tip jar and a sign that even says “if you would like to tip when using a credit card please let us know” and then sneakily add a tip without asking the customer, is an awful way to do business. I really would like to give the business a second chance as everything looked delicious but not sure if I can do that after my experience today.

Charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and the cowboy cookies.

Came in for a little snack after eating lunch and this little bakery was cute and the baked goods are made fresh in house and delicious! I had some coffee and a cowboy cookie and it was all fantastic!

Looked like a great bakery but were sold out of almost everything. Cowboy Cookie was a hit.

We visited around 9:30 on a Tuesday morning.. there was very little available (one flavor muffin, one flavor of bagel , 2 croissant varieties and one breakfast sandwich option) and the quantity of those was single digits. We bought a cowboy cookie and I found those very dry. Given the prices, selection and flavor/dryness I would not visit again
