First time dining in and it was not a good experience…… I ordered their chilaquiles and it was a really sad experience. The chips that they give out for chips and dip, well them chip were used to make my chilaquiles, HORRIBLE/ they sprayed the chips with water, added sauce , and sprinkled them with cheese.
I’m not saying all their food is prepared bad, but their chilaquiles are a definite NO for me.

We spent one night in Pecos as we traveled home to Tucson. Once we arrived in town, as we started searching for local restaurant options & their ratings, we lowered our expectations for dinner. Then we stumbled on La Bodega, which had the best ratings of any other local restaurant we checked, and decided to give it a try. WOW! The salsa that came with the chips was awesome, with just the right amount of spice. I got a lemonade drink and discovered it was home made & not too sweet, which I like. We each ended up with taco plates (one carne asada, one adobada), and we both loved our food. The borracho beans and spanish rice that came with the taco plates were also delicious. We saw a steady stream of locals going in and out of the restaurant as we dined, which is further testimony that this is a good restaurant. The service was wonderful. We highly recommend La Bodega, and would absolutely dine here again!

Parking: This is located in an old Sonic drive in. The old drive in spaces, which surround the building, are parking spaces.

We went 7/31 around 7pm. One server was very kind and welcoming. The other ignored us and only gave eye contact to the other people in the restaurant. Maybe me wonder why.

My crew eats here once or twice a week. I like the tortas and breakfasts; my team likes the burritos and lunch plates. At this point we probably have eaten 90% of the menu. The establishment is kind of small. The dinning room is a little cramped; but the food is always hearty and pretty good. I might have hard the best bowl of oatmeal in my life here.

Parking: The restaurant seems like a converted Sonic. They will probably run out of tables and seats before they run out of parking.
