We spent one night in Pecos as we traveled home to Tucson. Once we arrived in town, as we started searching for local restaurant options & their ratings, we lowered our expectations for dinner. Then we stumbled on La Bodega, which had the best ratings of any other local restaurant we checked, and decided to give it a try. WOW! My crew eats here once or twice a week. I like the tortas and breakfasts; my team likes the burritos and lunch plates. At this point we probably have eaten 90% of the menu. The establishment is kind of small. The dinning room is a little cramped; but the food is always hearty and pretty good. I might have hard the best bowl of oatmeal in my life here.

I got taco de pastor to go, called in the order and it was ready in ten minutes when I got there. I used the restroom when I arrived and the restroom was super clean, looked clean and smelled super clean. The dinning room was the same, very clean and only 3 tables were being used when I arrived. Food was delicious, tacos de pastor were awesome, the rice was also very good and the beans were awesome too, I wish I could have gotten more beans it was a small portion in my to go...
