I ordered an Ultimate Burrito and waited 15 minutes. When I finally got it and took a bite, I found a never ending hairball inside. I returned it politely, but then had to wait another 10 minutes before they even asked me again what I had ordered only to get my order wrong. No apology, no goodbye, no refund. Absolutely unacceptable. Never coming back.

First-time customer you're ordering app is more complicated than a new car loan application. The guy at the drive-thru rude pushy. I don't know why you would want somebody like that running your drive through. Now at the front corner there is bunch of drunk people I ain't going to go wait in line with them. Food was okay, service was horrible. 3 different people had to take our order on just 2 burger combos and a kids meal. We ordered the pizza bites on a separate order and the girl seemed so confused as to what we were ordering. They’re not on the menu but they’re a special item being promoted on their screens. We asked for ketchup 3 times cause they didn’t give us any with our food and it took 3 times to actually get 4 packets. We received exactly TWO napkins with our entire order. Like GIRL, I alone need those two napkins. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this sonic. Unfortunately, it’s our second time here and both times were a disappointment. Management needs to change ASAP cause the place is beautiful and has so much potential, but it’s lacking a better leader.
DISGUSTING, GROSS, AND NASTY! I visited this location yesterday, June 27, 2025, in the afternoon. I ordered a Cheeseburger Combo. It came WET with a combination of MAYO AND KETCHUP! They poured a gallon of mayo and ketchup on the Hamburger Bun, making it wet to the touch. It had so much mayonnaise; the patty was slippery. It was just plain DISGUSTING. It was a cold patty with a cold old bun! I called the manager and showed him the disgusting burger. His excuse was that they were out of MEAT? It makes no sense what that has to do with the quality of the food? The manager asked me if I wanted anything else. REALLY? No Way, it's the same cook making the disgusting food. Could you please refund my money? Today, I saw a Sonic commercial, and I was disgusted by it. It reminds me of the DISGUSTING burger.

The food is good . I personally like the flavor the tots are good . And they serve you good amount of fries and tots with your burger or order . It's not packed so that's what I like the food comes out in decent time.

Asked for the burger with no onions, they put onions. Asked for a cherry lemonade, they gave me something that tasted like red sprite. My daughter wanted oreo blast, they gave me something that tasted like coolwhip and no oreo. The sonic in Peñitas I do not recommend.
