I have been to the original Jake's when it was located in Pipe Creek, TX a few years ago and the atmosphere was very pleasant and the food, drinks and service was excellent. Sadly, this new location in Polly Peak, TX did not seem to impress me at all. I went to the Wednesday Night Jam last year in December with a friend of mine and it was a complete disaster because I tripped and fell down on their poorly leveled concrete floor which badly bruised my left knee. This is not the first time this has happened to me but it has happened before. So after taking two tumbles and getting badly injured and bruised up on your concrete unleveled flooring during my last visit which was very disappointing, I will not be returning to this establishment for a while.

A great local place. Very active venue. Lots of music and events. The beer is ice cold, the staff is extremely friendly and the service is great! The pool tables are active in the evenings and they even have a fun casual dart tournament Mondays. They allow smokers inside so regardless of the weather you can relax and be yourself here.

first time here at jakes and they are super friendly idk if they do it alot but tonight they provided FREE food goulash and chicken alfredo cookies and bread love the pool tables and just all around a great experience definitely recommend:)
