This quaint, small place is a real gem in Bandera, TX!! I had the beef bratwurst on a roll with a side of red cabbage. Let me tell you, the sandwich was delicious, it really was...but for me the standout star was the red cabbage! So much so that Im taking 3 sides of it to go!! 😍😍😍😍! Lol....please come check this place out, super friendly staff..even greeted me outside to make sure I was at the right place! 5 stars and will surely be back when Im back in town!

Visiting Texas for a week with a friend and we came here for our lunch and so far it is the best place we've been too. The service is wunderbar and the food is sehr lecker. I'd say the food here is reasonably priced for the amount you get and how it turned out. For seating there is indoor and outdoor seating and they allow dogs outside if you want to bring your dog with.

Best German food in Texas! Plates are less than $15 and they have a kids menu. Husband and wife owned and operated; husband is the cook from Germany and wife is extremely hospitable. Very kid friendly and BYOB welcomed. Nice easy drive outside of San Antonio heading towards Bandera.

This is a little gem! Owners are in the kitchen preparing our meals from scratch! You can sit outside under oak trees and enjoy the pastoral scene or sit inside. A black and white cat will saunter out to keep you company. Their menu sports at least 4 kinds of handmade sausages and schnitzels. Sides include German style cucumber salad, red cabbage, and potato salad. Be sure to finish with fresh apple strudel. Don't say no to extra whipping cream!

Stopped on the way home from travels in central Hill Country. Wow. The food is phenomenal, service friendly, and great location and outdoor space (there is also a small amount of indoor and covered seating). We will definitely be back next time we are anywhere in the vicinity!

We stopped here after seeing it on the map. This is by far the best German food I've had in Texas. We ordered the pork schnitzel plate, chicken schnitzel sandwich, sauerkraut, cucumber salad, spaetzle, the Nurenberger, a small pretzel, and 2 strudels (cherry and apple).
Every dish was amazing! The schnitzel was perfectly fried, the sauerkraut was flavorful, and I am still thinking about the strudels a week later. I highly recommend Tiny Schnitzel Haus!
