Love this place!!! This is Mexican and not Tex Mex. Quesabirria is my favorite, love it. They make guacamole too order. They are also so nice and friendly. Great place to eat or take home.

If anyone follows my reviews I make on google, this is also one of my few favorite places to visit for an immaculate experience of unique food! Everything on the menu will not disappoint! I’m a sucker for the Al pastor tacos myself. Everyone has their preferences but of all the authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve gotten Al pastor tacos from ranging from Point clear to Dallas, theirs is hands down my favorite! Best part is, I found a restaurant I like that is only mere minutes away from home! Chayitos paired with the other small restaurants we have that aren’t big name chains are what make Rains County a nice little slice of heaven when it comes to good eats! I’m appreciative of how long they have thrived in the area and I pray they don’t go absolutely nowhere!

Authentic Flautas were perfect. Pastor Quesadilla tasted like heaven. Beans and rice were a tad light on the portion, but I ate my whole meal before I could take a picture!
