Had been there before, food was good. Went there recently food was bad. It was very disappointing. Fried fish taste like dirt I actually DID speak with someone on the way out THANK YOU! Dirt taste like bottom feeding fish not the fish ADVERTISED you were selling when I ordered the dish. FALSE ADVERTISING! I didn't reach out to yelp, YELP sent ME an email, I just told about MY PERSONAL experience. If you do not like the review DO BETTER!

The food was great! Good portions and tasted very good. We got the steak and shrimp enchiladas and the steak and shrimp fajitas. The salsa is spicy but very good I loved it! Service was excellent also.

We had a family of 9 come in and the staff were very very polite and very friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. I personally got the chicken Alfredo and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back when I’m back down here!

This place was awesome! We had breakfast here twice during our stay and loved it! Their refried beans are delicious! The best I've ever had and I'm a life long Texan!

Service was great. The hush puppies were spot on 10 out of 10, who knew they'd be good with cinnamon sweet butter!?? The seafood enchiladas were good 7 out of 10. Enchiladas verde was an 8 out of 10.

They say little hole in the wall restaurants have some of the best food than the big fancy restaurants.Well this little hole in the wall has the best seafood in Port Isabel and probably S Padre! My wife and I were very hungry so we ordered the all you can eat Fish & Shrimp. My wife ordered grilled fish and shrimp in butter and I ordered the fish and shrimp in butter and garlic. We expected small thin fish and maybe popcorn shrimp. Well to our surprise the fish filets were large and thick, shrimp large and butterflyed and everything cooked to Perfection!!Everything was super hot, right off the grill! Some how my wife and I still had room for another serving of 2 more fish filets and 7 more shrimp and we were able to try the blacken fish and shrimp. As expected this time it was awesome again cooked to perfection. Our waitress Mary really did a outstanding job taking care of our needs. After two seving we still managed to try there Mango ice cream which was the topping we needed to finish a awesome meal.

We've been looking for a good new breakfast spot in the area since Manuel's closed...this may be it. My wife had the Eggs Mexicano, I had migas. Both were good. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, & comfortably lit. So why only 4 stars? It was really good...but not Amazingly great. We will try again next year and see what happens.

This place really is the best kept secret of Port Isabel both in taste and price! We went for dinner one night then breakfast the next. The service was great and the food was too. Their fried fish was so yummy and their chips and salsa are to die for. We loved everything we ordered and my kids told us they wanted us to go there every year we go to SP.

Wow! The food was SOOOO good! The service was kind and personable, and the flavors were just delicious. This is a wonderful capture of authentic Mexican, great use of the chilies. The prices were pretty reasonable but the best money spend on this trip. Best restaurant of any South Padre or Port Isabella place we have been to EVER - about 13 years of trips. Great find, great food, great attentive staff. We went for dinner and fell in love starting with the chips and salsa served hot. We enjoyed the meal so much we returned for breakfast. Had everything from chilaquiles to waffles and pancakes. Chilaquiles over medium, and Huevos a La Mexicana were so tasty. We will be back! Best recommendation from our two families!Jonathan C
