DO NOT GO PEOPLE, DO NOT GO!!!!!! first of all, the tea sucked....SUPER SOUR!!! no amount of surgar, Splenda or lemon could fix it. returned and ordered lemonade......again watered down disaster, ended up with a coke from the dispenser. ordered the calamari and was decent. my mom and aunt ordered the fish plate each that was the special( 9.99) I ended up ordering the blackened fish (AYCE 14.00 BUCKS) girlfriend ordered the fried shrimp(16.00 BUCKS) and her daughter oereded the nachos. returned the shrimp, not fresh but frozen globs of breading the size of quarters, super disgusting. returned and asked for blackened and got quarter sized salt blocks!!!! Ate one shrimp and returned that, super salty!! the blackened fish plate was also a nightmare, but me and my girlfriend picked and ate the serving they brought us and were done with it. my mom and aunts plate was, according to them ,ok. I went to pay and the waiter said im not going to charge you the shrimp plate and its going to be $93.38, I was like what!!! your kidding me!!! he charged me almost 25$ for sour tea and water down lemonade, 11.99 for each fish plate that was supposed to be 9.99 , and then included an almost 20 tip, DUDE I WAS FUMMING!!!! A$100 dollars for one of the worst dinners I have ever had at port isabel!!! NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN!!!! I should have stuck to my gut and gone to Tortugos, Joe's. ,OR DIRTY AL'S.....we a l ways try to try diffrent places and support local business and mom and pop stores starting out, BUT never again to this place!! friends and family stay away, stay away , STAY AWAY!!!! I'M SORRY BUT NO WAY!!!

DO NOT go there! The place is digusting from the outside, & gets worse on the inside. Sticky, thick, outdated plastic table cloths, about 95 degrees in there, despite ceiling fans. No A/C? Ceiling full of water stains, & the place is generally filthy. Waitress spoke 2 words of English, didn't ask about our food. We went there because we are always willing to try a hole-in-the-wall place if the food is good. My husband and I had the AYCE shrimp & AYCE fish with hush puppies, okra, beans & onion rings for sides. Grilled shrimp were small, but tasted fine; fried shrimp were mushy on the inside (straight from the freezer, I'm sure). Same with husband's fish, which the waitress claimed was bass. Huh? Okra were somewhat mushy, hush puppies were dry as a bone, onion rings were okay, beans were good. When we got there, the waitress brought us about 10 chips & 1/4 cup of salsa. Tasted okay, but refused us a refill on them. The food sucks & the atmosphere is disgusting! If I could give it 0 stars, I would! I wonder when the last Health Dept. inspection was!!

This is a small place, and family friendly. I had the Mexican Garlic Shrimp for dinner and it tasted great. Nothing fancy, but delicious shrimp. The two side dishes I chose were the beans and rice, and both were pleasantly presented. The complimentary chips were a little on the chewy side, but I think that may have been because they were flour rather than corn chips? I also had the ChocoFlan for desert which was moist and fresh out of the fridge, and quite generous in size. Overall I was pleased and plan on going back to try their All You Can Eat Shrimp.

I craved some chicken enchiladas, and this was on my 'haven't been here yet' list. Fast, friendly service and boy did my lunch exactly if not exceed my expectations. Nothing super fancy, but tasty, quality food and table service served with chips and salsa, bonus. Will be coming back and may be my new favorite.
