A nice relaxing nook right outside South Padre Island for when you need a break from the noise. The atmosphere is impressive, comfy, inviting, full of books and artwork. The espresso is OK. For a coffee snob, you might not frequent this place for the espresso, but you'll get a lot out of the enjoyable and peaceful atmosphere.
We stopped by this place on our way home from vacation, it’s a really cute spot with lots of books and cozy seating. I was hoping to order a coffee, but the employee (maybe the owner?) seemed tied up on her laptop and on a phone call. She mentioned she was working two jobs, so we totally understand. We ended up grabbing coffee elsewhere, but maybe next time we’ll get the chance to try it out properly.
This is such a cute little bookstore, and I absolutely love it! It seems like a cool hangout spot, and it's surprisingly spacious—don’t let the front fool you. There's a great selection of books, and I really love the postcards with handwritten notes on them. The only downside was the coconut iced coffee, which was a bit bland and lacked flavor; I couldn't taste much coffee, but that might just be personal preference. Overall, it’s definitely worth stopping...
