I drove up at 12:50pm today and the sign said open. A couple of bitties scrutinized me through the window and turned the open sign off. A woman had just left with a to go package. Then one of the brujas exited the front door to reverse the sign to closed. I addressed her and was completely, utterly ignored. Hell, I thought I was in TEJAS. FRIEND. Apparently not. Kicker is I learned he does it right. I have to try it if I ever gain entry.

The Food here is good. The older gentleman that served our food was attentive, helpful & had good customer service. The Lady that charged us not so much. Will NOT be coming back to this place.

Service was Excellent. Food not as Great. I came here for Lunch yesterday and then had breakfast today. The Brisket was lacking in Fatty Goodness making the Sandwich a bit dry and tasteless. The Sausage Sandwich was a Huge Improvement in Taste and Quality. I tried two Breakfast Burritos. The Egg, Cheese and Chorizo Burrito was Very Greasy and Tasteless. The Egg, Cheese and Sausage Burrito was surprisingly Tastier but leaked runny eggs through the tortilla and wrapper. I personally think these meals can be made better. Thank you to the Amazing Husband and Wife Combo who attended me. They were incredibly attentive and helpful. Port Mansfield is blessed to have a restaurant that caters to Early Risers and Good Appetites.
I have eaten at various restaurants in this building for many years ... some good and some not so good. Sweet Gregory P's, though, is the best by far. From the outside the building looks like it should have long ago been blown away by one of the many hurricanes that ravage this coast. However, on the inside the place is very clean with as good a barbecue as one is going to find anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the restrooms were. Even the parking lot is clean. Not even any cigarette butts which means someone has to be cleaning the parking lot. I might not have tried the place if not for the recommendation of a local resident. I highly recommend.
Website says open until 3 we arrived before 2 door says closed….long drive for nothing.
