Bird wise: being so close to the coast you can have some good birds flying over. Such as laughing gulls, brown pelicans, teens, and others. This includes loggerhead shrikes and golden-fronted woodpeckers to name amfew.

A restaurant with consistent tasty homecooked options. Fish is always fresh and cooked just right. The owner makes tasty, fresh hamburger patties herself with optional toppings and french fries from potatoes she cuts up right in the restaurant. The salad bar is always well stocked. Definitely homemade goodness but away from home.
