The food at The Feed Store is as cloose to your mom's home cooked meals as you can get without going home......service is great! You've got to get there early because the place is small and tables are almost shoulder to shoulder. If you don't mind eating with a group of people then there isn't a problem. The portions are large and prices kinda high but you get what you pay for..I call my order in and pick it up. Wait staff are friendly and greet you with a smile. So check them out. If you’re craving down-home cooking that tastes like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen, The Feed Store in Nederland-Groves is the spot! I had the hamburger steak smothered in grilled onions, mushrooms, and rich brown gravy—served up with creamy mashed potatoes and crispy fried okra. Comfort food at its finest.
My coworker went with the bacon cheeseburger and couldn’t stop raving about it. The tea never stopped flowing (a must on a blazing Texas day), and our waitress was an absolute gem—friendly, attentive, and knew the menu like the back of her hand.
They’ve always got daily specials, and don’t even get me started on the desserts—out of this world. Expect a short wait at lunch, but trust me—it’s worth every minute. If you’re anywhere near Mid County, this place is a must-visit.

Good food at a resonate price . Today was Beef tips over rice or meatloaf . We ordered two beef tips , PBJ sandwich, and grilled chicken and chocolate cake for us all . Need to eat here as it’s a great local restaurant.
I eat at this place a couple of times and I literally live almost right next to it. It’s a really good place to eat. I love it. Sometimes I go in there just to hang out and to eat some good food, tomorrow I’m probably gonna get some takeout. And eat it at home.
