My daughter and grandchildren took me out to lunch for my birthday, so excited to finally visit the Feed Store in Port Neches! Everything you heard is true, what a great experience. I had the Cajun Chicken Salad, she had a cup of gumbo and the kids had grilled cheese, Mac and cheese and grilled chicken. We so enjoyed the desserts as well, the bread pudding and chocolate cheesecake! Pleasantly crowded and enjoyed the wait...

It's a cozy little diner with an awesome staff that greets you as soon as you walk in the door and treats you like your part of family. My cup of coffee was always full. The food is delicious with lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs, and to me, that was one of the best steaks I have ever had. For a sweet treat, I had the Cajun cake, and it was really, really good.A few people that I met said the Cajun omelet is delicious, and so is the Banana split pie.I will definitely be coming back to try more of what they have on the menu and make new friends.

Great homestyle food and some of the best hamburgers in the Golden Triangle....Breakfast is awesome as well.
We were in town for the day & stopped in for a quick lunch. After a brief wait, we were seated. What a busy place! My husband ordered smothered steak & I had the chicken that had bar b sauce/bacon/ mushrooms/cheese on it. We also had creamed corn, mashed potatoes, & green beans. Everything was delicious! Cornbread was really good, too. Lots of locals were having lunch there & we could tell that there's a huge " to go" part of their business. Cute & casual decor! We'll come back to the daily special next time.

We wanted to eat breakfast but we got there too late so we had lunch!It's very small and intimate inside. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had a hamburger on the jalapeno bun and the special of the day, fried porkchops with two sides (I got rice and gravy and green beans.I loved the porkchops (especially dipped in the gravy) sides were very good too! My friend said the hamburger was great as well!We will definitely be back!

This is tough but I think fair. I almost think my visit would be a 3.5 but 4 is fair as the staff is soo friendly. I started with the Chicken Gumbo, the roux was too thick for me but good flavor. Fried porkchop were good, cream corn was great, rice with gray needed more gravy and unfortunately extra gravy came with a charge but thankfully only $1.I think it would be a good breakfast spot. I would also return for lunch again too.
