Craving a steak and a good glass of wine, I decided to try 5D Steakhouse one night in Port O'Connor. I was by myself so I sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender and she remained attentive for the duration of my meal. The Grigio was really good. The steak came out over-cooked. The bartender immediately agreed. She found a smaller plate so I could keep the baked potato and eat that while a new filet was cooked. I appreciated that since I was hungry. The new steak came out perfect and was delicious. I enjoyed sitting at the bar. So much space, plenty of seating. They had two large TVs displayed where I was able to watch the Astros baseball game. Unfortunately I left my debit card behind and didn't realize it until I arrived back to my home town. Via Facebook messaging and email, I was able to communicate with corporate and the manager to inquire if it was there. They found it the next day and graciously mailed it back to me. That is hospitality!! I'm very grateful to them. I will definitely be back.

Was in town from Houston. This place was recommended by a local. I was shocked at how good the steak was. I got the 12oz sirloin and it was as good as almost any steak I've had in Houston or Las Vegas. Shockingly good. Macaroni and cheese was great too.
This is definitely worth a stop if you're in Kenedy and want a good meal.

Food was good and decently priced although for choice ribeye or filet it was pretty pricey. Staff was a bit frazzled and disorganized for our big party but they did manage to get us all taken care and get food to our table in good timing. Definitely recommend this restaurant when in POC

First time I came here. We waited a few minutes by the front waiting to be seated. We were seated then our waitress took her time coming to our table. Then we ordered and the waitress just took her time going to a table were managers sit I guess. She did that several times. Food was ok. So I tried again to think maybe it was just that day. Well I went again today and I sat up front for 5 min no one came to sit us. People that work there just huddle around a table no care in the world. I will not be back. Horrible service.
I’m not sure what could’ve led to the bad service that we had but, it’s interesting to note that every time I visit someplace that I believe might have the kind of food I’m really craving, so that I could treat family, and no expense left unchecked, That you would begin the experience with wondering if you’re gonna get seated.

I especially liked it when one of the workers mentioned that they were really busy and that roughly 70% of the seating remained open with tables clean and ready to go.
Will definitely be looking for a different steakhouse next time

Food is terrible. Super expensive and very slow took us an hour just to get drinks. Friend even got sick from food which costed us our fishing! And when we did get our drinks they were wrong. Close this and move Cathy’s in!

Definitely the best place in POC hands down. The managers did not want to give us a big table and were idiots for it. Eventually we talked someone into it with some sense. Taylor ended up waiting on us and getting several hundred dollar tip. The managers need to relax and give the customers what they want. But that seemed to be the theme in this whole town. Nobody knew service.

The sirloin steak is on par with salt grass if not better. The mac and cheese is better than Panera bread. Green beens are solid. Will come back here on vacation for great comfort food.
