Very good beef brisket. Melt in your mouth, moist. Just the right amount of dry rub. We had the Wednesday's special Beef Brisket on a baked potato. Just plain yummy. Brisket, cheese and sour cream on top of the potato. Help is very pleasant and the place is very clean.
Great service, food excellent. Wyoming has good bbq, this place topped anything we've had before at home or in our travels. Owner came to the table and greeted us as if we were regulars. Their sauce alone was worth the drive from Wyoming. The three meat plate was a great meal large enough to split between two people.
I think they have the best smoke BBQ taste in the area. Ribs and brisket are quite delicious. They have a nice bar and a room with pool tables and dart. Will be coming more often
The food is delicious. However, the prices are considerably more than the other barbeque restaurants. My meal was at least 20 to 25 percent higher than any other barbeque restaurant I have ever eaten at. I might be back some day, when I have money to burn.
Wow!!! Moist brisket the best ever!! I highly recommend this place. Great food and very welcoming friendly staff with a relaxing atmosphere.
Good barbecue and Awesome service staff is always very helpful and expediate. Don't like cold barbecue and you won't get it from here always freshly made and soooooooo good. Yummy
Excellent service from a friendly staff, pretty tasty barbecue (which is how it should be down south), cheap big draft beers, and a lively atmosphere!
Great barbecue reasonably priced. Love this place. Drove over from Corpus Christi for the barbecue.
Great place to hang out if you're in town working and staying in Portland. The BBQ was fantastic and Mikey served it up with the kind of care and attention usually given to sushi. Very good smoked meats. Also have pool tables, a nice bar area, and darts. Decor inside was homey, with plenty of stone and some nice wildlife on the walls. Bring the crew in for beers and BBQ.
Kind of strange as all meats are paid by the half pound and any sides are separate. No two or three meat plates although you can make one as I did. Brisket had a smokey taste which I like. Service was good as several different people stopped by the table to ask how my meal was going. Both brisket and ribs were flavorful and tender. My two meat plate was around $13. I consider that a pretty good value for a barbecue place. I would recommend as I think this was a pretty good lunch in Portland.

After having to ask for my fries they brought them up and they were rock solid. Obviously had been cooked and laying around then dropped back in the fryer when I said I hadn't received mine. Mgr took 10 minutes to talk to me. But did eventually refund my money for them. As for the BBQ it's on the dry side and expensive.
Ribs Fall off the bone. French Fries hand cut. Great service. Sauce could use more flavor. Beside that, great deal.
Service is good. Food has lots of fat...so if you like it that way this is your place. No salads, no slaw. Sauce is good. Had the brisket natchos...cheese good, chips good, brisket like jerky - not good.
I went to the Portland location. Good service. Delicious food. Nice environment. Down side was we had a bday party n the room we were in they had the a/c on when it was 40° outside. Other than it was great!
