Yesterday, I had a surprisingly uplifting experience with a DoorDash order from Pep's in Portland. Long haired bartender girl sucked. Had to wait for every single thing we needed. The food was ok but not good enough to go back and deal with the slow, not caring, un motivated service. Only 2 tables taken and we're already served so to help us shouldn't have been an inconvenience.
I have no idea why they have this as a 4.2! Food was great, service was awesome! Brandon & Whitney took care of us today & I might say they are down to earth people. When our food came out it was cooked & looked like perfection. I appreciate y’all taking care of us.

Our first time there, it was busy in the bar area (karaoke night) the first bartender( she didn't even introduce herself) just asked what we wanted to drink then got our drinks then basically ignored us afterwards but glad the 2nd bartender noticed that we were ignored so she stepped in, asked if we were ready to order, took our order and still served the other patrons sitting around the bar while the first nameless bartender looked like she couldn't deal with all the orders that she had from the front of the restaurant and bar area. Food came, it was delicious (I got the birria plate and husband got the asada taco plate). Despite the service of the nameless bartender, we are willing to give it a second try. I hope it will be a better experience than the first time.
