Updated review:The Togo plate is what I received and the other picture is what hibachi is supposed to look like. The little girl at the front was on her phone. She wasn’t friendly. I called my order in. I asked a few questions but she didn’t know the answer and didn’t care to find out. I’ve eaten hibachi at many places. This was soupy. It only had 6 shrimps. The shrimp was over cooked, dry and chewy. The vegetables aren’t cooked. They charge me extra for the dipping sauce it normally comes with. If I wanted to eat regular Chinese food I would have went to a regular restaurant. This is not hibachi. Very disappointed. I don’t recommend.I decided to give this restaurant a second chance. I ordered sushi. I ordered the Portland roll. I dined in. The service was great. The sushi was better than expected. I ended up ordering 3. Thank you Zach.

Can’t say much about the food since we didn’t get any but the service was severely lacking. Went in hungry and thirsty with my wife on an early friday afternoon. Dispute their being maybe 20% of the tables full, once we were seated (which was immediately upon walking in) we thanked the hostess and then were not spoken to or even acknowledged for 15 minutes. Not even by the hostess after we thanked them. We decided to leave as we were very hungry. Perhaps this is a one off experience, but not a very good look nonetheless. The place does have an interesting atmosphere inside. It’s a little confused as to what it’s trying to be. Is it an elevated lounge experience or a night club?

reservations at 7. sat at 710 no issue there. sat with another party of 15. we were at the hamachi table. finally took our order along with the other party of 15 at 752. people were sat at another habachi table about 25 minutes after us and they went over to them within 5 minutes and took there order. we have been here a couple of times before but this will be the last. extremely slow, inattentive and non caring. one of the worst dining experiences
The sushi lovers in my family love it but if you are not a sushi lover the rest of the menu is not very good at all. I've tried several different times and it's always the same. Everything has a fishy taste even if it does not have fish even the plain white rice.

We've been there twice. The first time, we got sushi and it was very good. I do want to go back and try their hibachi at some point. But their Chinese entrees are pretty lacking. My husband got the Sesame Chicken, which was overly sweet. I got the General Tso's... it has a chili next to it on the menu, but there is absolutely no spice whatsoever.I think if we only stuck to sushi, I would have given it 5 stars. But the entrees are very lacking.

This was such a good idea for Portland! The sushi and sashimi is delicious and the hibachi is solid. I have been several times and never had a bad meal. I have not tried the cocktails, but the bar area looks nice as well.
