Beautiful building and decent service to go with it. The food is great and reasonably priced easily my go to Mexican food in town. Only downside is that they are closed more than most places.
Really good place for a family lunch, we had shrimp tacos, fish tacos and I had the veggies quesadilla, it was nice to see a place that offers a quesadilla filled with delicious veggies and cheese only! Fish and shrimp were fresh and tasty. The flan was very good! We will be back ?

While the food was really tasty, the service fell below expectations. The waitress would forget about us. There seemed to other waitresses less busy, but ours looked like she couldn't manage.Most of the time, she would prioritize our requests in a way that would not meet our needs. Whether it was to bring more drinks, or salsa, or a to go box, ahe wouod take a long time.We were still eating some food, kind of munching on things, when our waitress asked if she could remove our salsas to give them to the neighboring table. She did not clean the bottles that we had touched, and she directly placed them on the other table. I now wonder if when those bottles were brought to our table, how many other hands had touched them. That was gross.I was planning to stay there longer just enjoying our time there. So I asked for more salsa to continue eating the chips I still had there, plus a to go box for our leftover food. Again, all I asked was more salsa since our bottles had been taken away, and I wanted to stay eating the chips that we had on our table. Again, she took a long time to come back with my bill, but no salsa.I ended up telling her that we had to leave, so she did not have to bring the salsa anymore. She responded that she had to bring it because they had already charged me extra for it. I told her that I did not want it nor wanted to pay extra. She just brought back the salsa in a to go container, and my bill was not adjusted.I was disappointed that what could have been a very nice date night there ended up in a sour experience even getting charged extra without telling us.

Thank you Fernando ?Finally was able to enjoy Sabor Maya, after doing services for them. OMG ? it's smells delicious from the parking lot upon arrival !!! We found this restaurant last year while staying at North Beach…came back to stay at padre island this year -but made a special trip here for their-excellent food-nicely priced!
