Today was well Cost over Quality for this restaurant. I just purchased 3 chicken fajitas tacos and a sweet tea going with the drive-thru option. The cost was a staggering 23.78. I could have gone to any other restaurant and had a full lunch plate and still cost less, I only live 4 minutes away, I had to warm my tacos up in the microwave,another disappointment. If you decide this restaurant, I would suggest dining in so you can approve your food before you have to eat a disappointing meal.

My brother Mando recommended this place after I moved closer to Poteet and is was well worth stopping here. The food is great, tasty 😋, and not a long wait. The staff is friendly, attentive, accurate and also have a sense of humor. The atmosphere was welcoming and homey. I would recommend this place to anyone in Poteet or going through Poteet.

I was at La Mesa Restaurant to see and hear Gov. Abbott and District 80's Republican. After seeing their family and employees opening their Restaurant and their friendliness, I will be returning to eat there without a doubt. The scriptures around the dining room walls showed me of their godly views, beliefs, and stand. This is the kind of place that I will support as well as enjoy.

*Misleading reviews Really wanted to like this place with all the great reviews it has. Must be locals and the regulars posting. Waitresses are young girls who are super slow, drinks came out right before the food, the food was room temperature....not one plate, ALL of it. Prices are high for such low quality and bad service. But, of course we were polite, paid our bill, and spent more money at the restaurant we stopped at on the way home. Don't waste your time just because you were in the area like we were and did. Drive the extra miles to get yourself a good meal.
