Great views, great service, just wish they had more plant based options other than a salad. Loved their mushroom burger but it's off the menu now. There are many plant based burger patties on the market now that I hope someday they will get a plant based burger back. The grandkids loved the ducks, fishes and playground.Great place.

We had a great time with family in town, until two servers, who weren’t our servers, came over and complained about our kids (who were cousins seeing each other for the first time in a while, 5 of them). He told me to contain them better, and I explained that no one was there- we spent over $500 as a very large party, had been there for 3 hours and it was pretty empty. He was an older gentleman working with a younger server. They were extremely rude and unprofessional making us feel like we weren’t welcomed and that the restaurant wasn’t family friendly. It was embarrassing for our family who had never been there, that were in town visiting. I’m surprised given they usually have live music, and it was homecoming night so everyone was hyped up.. absolutely disappointed.Kid-friendliness: They complained about our children ages infant-4yrs.

Texas Toothpicks were super tasty. Shrimp Po'boy was a bit light on shrimp but still pretty good.Live music was INSANELY loud and made it impossible to talk to my own table.
Hit it miss with the food here. Seems to be a constant all of the restaurants on the lake..stuffed avocados sometimes not ripe and sometimes perfect!

Atmosphere and service pretty good, food is hit or miss depending on the day. A lot of 'recently frozen' bar food. Lots of TVs and some live music on weekends. The bad - parking if you're a boat. It's at the most popular marina on the lake and centrally located so at lunch or dinner time, good luck finding an open slip. Not that they don't have enough, just a lot of people showing up at the same time. We're frequent visitors, not bad a bad place, just manage your expectations.

On google and on their web site is clearly says they are open to 10:00 pm on Wednesday nights. We pulled up by boat and walked in at 8:45 and the first thing we were told was not “hi y’all welcome to the island” but “we close at 9:00”. As a local who frequents all restaurants in the area and on the lake it had been a while since we’d been to the island. For this exact same reason is why it had been a while. Poor service and we don’t care attitude. Worst service on Lake Texoma.

Horrible food! Bacon wrapped shrimp was disgusting and no flavor. The jalapeños tasted like old bell peppers. The fried okra was so oily and the island tacos were stale and cold. The only good thing about our visit was the service. Can’t remember his name but he was waiting on a lot of tables and always checked on us.
