I think this place suffers from an identity crisis, is it a burger joint? A Mexican place? (Not really more of a texmex.) A steak house? American diner? You try to do too much and get nothing right. As we were passing through Presidio, we chose to have lunch at Oasis because, at the time, the Google rating was 4.6. Our hopes were high but they were soon dashed. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak which was overcooked and smothered in lumpy gravy. Against my husband’s advice, I ordered the salmon as the menu was rather sophisticated. I’ve never had salmon jerky before! It wasn’t even worth sending back. One and done for us!
The food IS good, the savory waters are dusty. The one who attends has atole running through his veins, she's a blonde, I think there must be more. That's why her child clarified it.
