Las Rocas Mexican Cocina

The food was lacking flavor, nothing tasted seasoned and against my better judgement I ordered the rib plate and received these super dry excuses for ribs you can litetally see how dry and overcooked they are. Don't think I would visit here again.

Randomly fell upon this restaurant in a google search after helping my sister move into a new home a mile down the road, what a delicious surprise!
The house frozen margarita was amazing, it didn’t taste like a bunch of mix with tequila, but a fresh lime juice base that had the perfect amount of tequila with a tajin rim, glad I ordered the large 😋 The queso stayed creamy throughout the whole meal, salsa is flavorful & a bit spicy to my liking, but couldn’t resist dipping in it regardless! Our table ordered the brisket quesadillas- that was stuffed with meat & plenty of cheese, the brisket burrito, chicken enchilada with cream sauce, and the steak & al pastor Gordita. Absolutely nothing was left on our plates, and the sopapillas were a nice finish to our amazing food.
We walked in during the time they were taking photos to update their website, and everything on that table smelled & looked to die for! The staff was super attentive & friendly, and never let our cups or chips run dry.
We will definitely be back to try the breakfast & other menu items 🤩😉

Great spot

Gave this place a try and it was the worst experience. 0 stars if possible. Coffee mug was dirty and the coffee was completely watery. Food was okay but some items did not taste fresh. When we were leaving we found the B health rating hidden by a poster because some of the items and we were disgusted.

This restaurant needs to improve on food quality and taste. First, we were impressed by the high prices on the menu, but we thought the extra price was due to quality and taste again , we do not recommend this place unless it improves. Food has no presentation or taste. You can tell whomever cook and plate our meals were not sure what they are doing. Kids didn't eat , we had basically a bad experience, and we left hungry. We will change our statement if they prove they can improve. We are chefs with experience in restaurant business for over 30 years .
3 stars for the server since the whole service was in a rush

The prices per plate are way too high here for mediocre food at best. The prices for my wife and I, we could've gone to Wingstop and it still would've been cheaper than Las Rocas!! Food was a bit bland. Service was great and thats the only thing saving this place...

I had a taste for mexican food, and thought I'd give this place a shot since Ive never been. I placed a to-go order, and my food was very oily and bland. I had beans with my order, but they were watery and somehow had a cinnamon after-taste. I've had way better.

We had dinner here after signing the purchase contract for our new home in Farmersville Texas. The food is excellent, presented well and we were greeted with a perfectly spicy appetizer and ordered the carne asada accompanied by enchlada, rice, bean cream and jalapeno.
We will definitely be back.

Just finished our yummy ? meal we have ordered for the first time from this restaurant, and am so very pleased with everything!! We had ordered delivery, and everything was delivered as expected, the prices are pretty reasonable, they have a huge selection and variety of options to choose from (to please many different cravings), and so far everything has been so delicious!! The only disappointment that I do have, is that I did not know about this place sooner!! This will definitely be a new go to place for myself and my family!!

^We had the Chorizo con Huevos (with home potatoes and a pancake), Three cheese enchiladas with rice and beans + a tamale, a side of rice, and a side of guacamole with chips and two cheese enchiladas with queso, rice and beans.

I had the Mexican soap menudo. It was awesome. A big bowl filled with menudo. Not just juice but meat as well. My sister had the enchiladas with rice and beans and they were awesome. I love going to this place. The waitresses have been awesome. Keep up the good work! Yummy!?
