Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I’m keeping all my stars! I can’t even give one! It’s bad when you leave the establishment and have to go back and it’s even worse! My daughter stopped for us before coming home. She got us the loaded potato combo. That potato was so hard we would broke the plastic fork! It wasn’t fresh and hot and things asked for we didn’t have! So we was going to try and make it work because who wants to go back after you’ve made it all the way home! But my daughter goes back to bring back what taste like burnt chop beef meat! Disgusted on so many levels! I think it’s time to go back in the lab…my kitchen! And quit giving you non caring establishments my good hard working money! That’s it That’s all…carry on! I’ll never go back to this one!

I’ve had Dickey’s bbq from various locations and never had a problem with the food. The “brisket” at this particular location can’t even be considered bbq. I’m not even convinced it was actually brisket. My husband and I both thought it tasted like a dry pot roast. There was no rub on the meat, no smoke ring or bark, and it wasn’t sliced against the grain. The meat was very dry as well and I’d be surprised if it was actually smoked in a smoker. Honestly, if I didn’t know better, I would have thought this “bbq” place was located up north and not in Texas.

I do enjoy Dickey’s and will continue to purchase from other Dickey’s locations but this one was a disappointment.

Ordered online for pickup tonight and I ordered a 2 meat plate with brisket and turkey. I almost finished the plate when I realized that the black ink from the lining had rubbed off onto my food. I tried to put in an order issue on the app and there's no option, so I'm left with leaving a Google review. Here's to hoping I don't get sick!

$55 for dry barely half a pound of brisket. not fresh and not worth the money. Worst bbq i’ve ever had honestly.
