Gentle Creek is a very nice course in North Dallas. It is maintained well, the clubhouse is new and outstanding. It has a nice family vibe which I enjoy even though my kids are older now. Junior golfers and their parents working on their game is about the best thing in golf. The restaurant and bar is very comfortable and the staff that I have met have been friendly and inviting.
Gentle Creek says they are "consistently rated in the Top 4 Rated Golf Clubs in DFW, Top 20% in Texas." By whom? I can't seem to find those reviews. e.g., Yelp has this course rated at 3.0 – which BTW matches my own rating. My review is they are overpriced and have an over inflated opinion of themselves (ref. their claims). The course is nice don't get me wrong it played well. But not for the price they charge.
