Small portions. Brisket tasted like it was cooked in an oven. No smoke flavor and very fatty and cold. Once i got all the fat off. There was only enoungh meat left for one slice instead of 3 slices only 4 slices of sausage. Pinto beans were extremely salty and potato salad was mushy (like mashed potatoes)With pickle juice. I would not recommend

We RV around the country and have experienced many bbq places. I have to say Bigbo Sherms is by far the best brisket I have ever ate. So moist and tender you can cut it with a fork.

tl;dr: Tasty BBQ al fresco in a friendly country setting.I had a real estate photo shoot over by Navarro Mills Lake, and as I always like to support local restaurants, I researched and decided to stop by Big Bo Sherm's BBQ after the job. It's over towards the dam on 667, I blew right past it the first time around. Went to the dam to have a look, they have a nice beach over there, lots of people swimming.Came back and parked in the one spot there. It's a little food trailer next to the house. He's got 4 picnic tables set up under the commodious awning in front of it. I had the chopped beef sandwich with onion and pickle, sauce on the side. It was right tasty with or without the sauce, that's how you know it's quality.Me and him talked about family and old times in the country. And business. He said he used to have Door Dash, but the drivers wouldn't come out to pick up, so he dropped that. You can call in and order and come pick it up yourself, and a feller did just that while I was there. He parked for a short spell in the driveway.I finished up my sandwich, got a refill of sweet tea, and was on my way.

Y’all, if you want fall off the bone ribs, and tender brisket, this is the place. The homemade potato salad was delicious. We are camping at Oak Park and this BBQ place is right down the road passed the park. We all had the 2 meats, 2 sides plate, and it comes with onions, pickles, and slice of bread for 14.95 each. It’s well worth that price, great tasting BBQ!

Absolutely fantastic! I have been working in TX for 6 months and frankly haven't found good BBQ until a friend of mine told me about Big Bo Sherms and I was not let down. I drove 4 and a half hours from Corpus today 5/20/2023 and I was not disappointed. I got brisket, sausage, potatoe salad, and baked beans and let me tell you it was what I picture Texas BBQ to be. I will have no problems making this drive again real soon!

We were traveling and looking for authentic BBQ - we found it! We had a brisket sandwich with chips and drink as well as a large baked potato topped with brisket and all the fixings. Texas size portions. Don’t miss it! It was awesome!
