We were just passing through and stopped for a quick bite. The food was fresh and the staff nice. I loved how the choco brownie extreme had lots of chocolate! We tried the Carolina reaper tacos and there was nothing special about them. There weren’t even spicy. Definitely not worth trying them.

I had a pleasant experience in this location, they had an all women team that day and was amazed by their team work. I did not have to wait long for my order and the staff was very polite and helpful. Honestly I hate stopping in Refugio because most of the restaurants and gas stations are very dirty especially the restrooms, and the staff is rude.

Super friendly staff & taco Tuesday is always great!
I always take the bus from Houston to McAllen and we stop in Refugio. I place an online pickup order. First I get off the bus and pickup a soda and then go to DQ for my order. Been doing this for 3 years now. Was told I could not take my soda in there. I purchase a meal there but don’t like fountain drinks. Was irritated by this.

The girl got my wife's order wrong. The food was OK. Per the manager they do not use the points from the app. When my wife asked the girl about her order. The girl did not say anything. The restaurant looks great. I kike the school photos all over. Great community spirit.
