After the rather disappointing experience that I had with the burger king about a block away just a few minutes prior it was definitely nice to walk into this place. The staff was quick to acknowledge my presence, and even after telling them about the incident I had.They were still polite and said, well, sometimes that's just the way they are. They made a point to not only be respectful to me but to the other business as well.Which in my opinion was more than they deserved....
We were just passing through and stopped for a quick bite. The food was fresh and the staff nice. I loved how the choco brownie extreme had lots of chocolate! We tried the Carolina reaper tacos and there was nothing special about them. There weren’t even spicy. Definitely not worth trying them.
I had a pleasant experience in this location, they had an all women team that day and was amazed by their team work. I did not have to wait long for my order and the staff was very polite and helpful. Honestly I hate stopping in Refugio because most of the restaurants and gas stations are very dirty especially the restrooms, and the staff is rude.
