I had an amazing experience at Golden Chick! The fresh chicken sandwich was outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and served hot and fresh. You can really tell the quality and care that goes into their food. On top of that, the customer service was absolutely impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. It’s rare to find great food and excellent service in one place, but Golden Chick nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Poor customer service. The lady at the counter didn’t ask what sauce we wanted and she gave us gravy. Normally, we are asked what sauce we want and We don’t like or want gravy. When we brought it to the front and asked for the zing sauce we really wanted with the order she charged us and wouldn’t trade. It’s a silly thing to be irritated about but it’s the principle. We didn’t use or want it and should have been asked what we wanted.

I am a regular in refugio to get livers. Today I went thru drive thru and ordered a double order of livers. I took the bag and drove home 8 miles away. When I opened the bag both boxes were fried so hard I could not eat any of them!!! I am old and couldn't drive back to the restaurant. This is uncle acceptable
