I'm a stringent connoisseur of Stripes Laredo Taco foods...but a few days ago I ordered the breakfast plate with a side order of the Fajita Scoop.
My two sides was bacon slices and beans can I change the beans to potatoes, I thought. Turned out I got beans and potatoes and the bacon slices as well as the chicken fajita scoop which unit of itself is no big deal.
But, the portions were so small I mean I paid $2.79 for 11 itty bitty cubes of potatoes, a couple of tablespoons of refried beans and the chicken fajita scoop could have been no more than a half of a scoop that would normally feel a complete spoon.
It was disgraceful cheap tight ridiculously small portions unlike anything I've ever had before have any of the stripes stores. I could guess that since 7:11 took them over corporate got involved and said wait wait wait you're feeding everyone way too much food they're fat enough as it is. But reality is they don't care how fat or thin any other customers are. The only margins they're interested in is the p&l margin.
So I will not visit this Laredo taco or Stripes Store in the future ever and if it happens again I will stop coming and patronizing any of these Stripes markets major thumbs down

Tortillas to thick, got hard before I could finish.Meats good, a little too much soup w it.Paid for cheese I didn't get. Yes I know cheese isn't authentic, I don't care, I like cheese.Third taco I got can't say good or not, the soup from the meat was oozing out of the rolled up foil around it. Didn't wanna wear it, so I just tossed it.And for whatever reason they wrap the tacos up, put them in a bag, but only have pico an salsa in a little buffet without anything to put it in.Strange place. But I'd try it again another day. Really was hoping for better this far south in texas
