Really good, high quality coffee! My daughter buys the more expensive, upper end coffees from every place imaginable, and she absolutely loves it when I make the short drive out to Rio Vista and get her coffee from this establishment. The staff is courteous and the building is cute. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Hands down the worst breakfast experience I’ve ever had just now. Just moved here and was excited to try this place. We just waited over an hour to get food. The “two pieces” of French toast was just one slice of bread with the corner cut off. The sausage was burnt. Ordered over hard eggs and came out runny. The table next to us finished and left, new people came in, and they ate and left before we ever got our order. Never got asked if I needed a refill on a drink the entire time. Asked for sour cream and it was brought out after already finished. Food wasn’t good. That was a horrible dining experience

I had the country fried steak, Mac and cheese and okra. CFS was off the hook good! The gravy was on point! The Mac and cheese however was dry and kinda crispy. Like it's been on the heat for a while. The okra was frozen and not cooked. The waitress was amazing although the food took forever to come out. When I checked out and told the old lady behind the counter. She got defensive. I didn't catch her name but she was wearing black glasses. Update: I did not get a chance to tell the waitress. She never came back. We tried to get her attention to no avail. We was in a hurry. Or else I would have let her know. My life is in the kitchen. Okra is my favorite as well. I wasn't looking for competition or anything else. Just wanted y'all to know it was still frozen. We do intend on coming back.

Ate breakfast on Saturday morning and it was great. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was one of the best I've ever had. Sweet tea was on point, yes I drink sweet tea for breakfast, don't judge me. They also have specialty coffee . We had a party of eight and the service was fast and friendly. The diner had a really good atmosphere. If you live around Rio Vista check them out.

I have been a local food guide for years. This is the best Restaurant in Rio Vista. Not only do they serve hot fresh made to order food but they have a few unique menu items as well! The bacon jam patty melt is my new favorite. Service here has always been friendly and prompt. Good, genuine people and great family atmosphere. If you're in Rio Vista and hungry do yourself a favor and give them a try. I love supporting local business!
