Words can not do this place justice. As soon as you take ur first bite , u feel nothing but home . This is most definitely a hidden gem. Come for great food , authentic down home 504 cooking with great service and conversation. Everything is cooked to order so fresh is an under statement. It's in the Chevron. I really enjoyed this food! Some authentic new Orleans cuisine. I got fried oysters, Cajun potatoes, greens and crawfish Mac and cheese. Delicious! Can't wait to go back and try the boudin balls and beignets!
So I finally went to see afar chef d was about. Very New Orleans, homey, people person. I was undecided on what to get so I decided on the platter. I did substitute my egg roll for Mac and the crab balls for yams. My draw backs is I didn't get the barbque shrimp and my seafood wasn't fried hard like I asked?.. personally it is a little pricey but it's worth it. Everything has great seasoning except the yams to me. And these crab balls are small but delicious...
