The snow crab was great! We also got the fried Tejun Trio of fish, gator nuggets, fries, shrimp, and hush puppies. Those were mostly pretty good too. The sauces were good but not amazing. Service was super quick and good and the place is very clean. Prior to arriving, I thought this was a sit down restaurant, but it's order at the counter so keep that in mind.

Had the shrimp po boy. Great flavor...needed more shrimp. The bread they use is great. When I closed the sandwich, my first 3 bites were bread and lettuce. If they get the shrimp ratio more balanced...this is a winner.

It's essentially Texans doing boiled seafood. It's not Cajun. You won't find red beans and rice or gumbo or étouffée. Standard old bay style shellfish boil. Everything is covered very heavily and powdered seasoning and butter sauces. Our crab claws were really nice and meaty the only thing that disappointed was the boiled shrimp which looked more like the frozen kind you buy at the store.

The decor an ambience is casual. There is a nice and large outdoor seating on a deck overlooking a pond where kids can run around freely and even by food to feed the fish which our kids loved.

Overall, if you have an itch for Gulf Coast boiled seafood this will scratch it.

The food is good but if you’re after authentic Cajun this is not the place. The gumbo was good and so was the shrimp po boy. The blackened fish was not blackened much if at all. But let me tell you the place is hopping with locals so if it’s what you like this is the place to go. Try and decide for yourself. We are from Louisiana so we’re picky about Cajun / Creole food. Cool place to hang out by the river and they are very nice with customers.

Good prices. The catfish was dry and the mushrooms had no flavor. The French fries are good. Would like to go back for the red fish and rice with potato and corn.
