Delicious food. I had fried catfish. My granddaughter had the fried shrimp kids plate. My guest had the chicken fried steak. They have a wonderful salad bar and a sundae buffet that includes big chicken and rice with fried ribs. I wish I would have tried the fried ribs but i'm sure I will on my next visit. Though it's not on a menu, they do charge extra. If one of your sides is a salad. The wait staff was busy but very attentive, polite and professional. Looking forward to my next visit.

Fantastic food. Has great variations on old favorites! I had a hamburger steak with jalapeños, a great broccoli salad and delicious green beans. Nothing overcooked or greasy. Customer service was very accommodating Really enjoyed my experience here !

Came for lunch on a 2 day job here in Robstown. I got some delicious grilled catfish, and my boss got easily one of the top 3 burgers he's had in the state of Texas. House made tartar sauce so good I don't want to buy it at the store anymore, but I have to go home tomorrow

This was our second time there and the owners are horrible I've been there when the owner was drunk yelling at his stuff such a unfriendly place the only good part about our time there was the server Marissa, she was the best and helped make our time enjoyable despite the owner screaming at everyone, I will NEVER go back there ever again, if you want a screaming show with your dinner then this is your place. Each time I've been there something has happened. No thanks.

This was my first time dining at JBoys, and our first inpression was not good. It started with a very young waitress that had no clue about the menu. I asked about the Filet Mignon and she responded, is that the catfish filet? I asked where they source their meat, bit she did not know. The menu states that the have both Filet Mignon and Ribeye Steaks, bit when I asked for the Filet, I was told they only had the Ribeye.
So, I ordered the 16OZ Ribeye and my wife and the Hamburger. When they brought out the Ribeye, it was presented in multiple pieces, which I thought was weird. One large piece was all fat, so I couldn't do anything with that. The remaining pieces where small amlnd not very thick amd the meat was luke warm.
They advertised a 16OZ Ribeye special for $32, what i received was maybe a 10OZ. If they are going to charge more for a steak than The Texas Roadhouse, they might want to step it up a bit. We paid $72.00 for two entrées, one water and one iced tea. Those prices are not what we would expect for a small restaurant in Calallen. I don't believe we will be going back again.
This now, Colorado girl, got a perfect taste of home with a tall glass of sweet tea and a fantastic burger! The staff were fast, friendly, and made the experience even better!
