We were driving back from the valley to Houston and we wanted some bbq. I googled it and Up in Smoke came up. Even though it was a little out of our way it was definitely worth the drive. The food was delicious!!

It was ok. I haven't tried other BBQ places in Corpus yet, but I've had much better BBQ in Austin and even in Virginia. The rib meat fell off the bone, which was great, but didn't have much flavor. The brisket tasted fine, but was too moist, to the point where it was mushy. The sausage tasted good but the casing had an overly firm consistency. The sides were pretty good. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

i have been a bbq lover for many years yesterday evening igot half a lb of brisket, lb of sausage, and lb of ribs. it was great. i dont say this much about alot of bbq places. but this exceeded my expectations. now im not sure what kind of sausage was used but i swear it tasted like the best sausage ive ever tasted (Yokum)

I’m 44 years of age and I’ve tried barbecue from all over the world. This place is hands-down the best barbecue I’ve ever had in my Entire life! Everything was cooked to perfection. The balance was probably the highlight by that I mean it wasn’t too. Smoky wasn’t too spicy wasn’t too moist wasn’t too dry. Everything was just on point. It was such a beautiful experience. The service was great. I was greeted at the window, I had the menu explained to me. I was offered extras which wasn’t needed, and the atmosphere was cozy. Like I was at an uncle’s house. Totally had A family get together type of vibe. Will I be back? I don’t think I could ever barbecue from somewhere else and not use up and smoke as a basis for comparison . To the owners, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your product.

My 1st time here and I love the food. The people who work there are very polite and helpful. We sat in ate inside it was hot and small but the food was worth it.Briskets plate was delicious. The brisket had flavor it was just right. Potatoes salad had flavor and different compare to other bbq place which I love. The rice was good I love that it wasn’t dry or watery just perfect. The beans were ok but had flavor. The sausage my son love it he is a picky eater. My picky daughter ate all her food for once’s. Bbq sauce I love that it’s not spicy or sweet just perfect. Everything was nice warm. The drinks nice and cold. The place was clean and unique. Will be back soon!
