Book Club is the spot you bring your out-of-town friends to try. Awesome vibes, great breakfast food, and nestled right in the heart of Downtown Rockwall.
Make sure you get a reservation if youâre going on the weekend! And, make sure you get some biscuits and gravy.

Really love the coffee at book club and the speed in which they get your order out. Itâs my favorite spot in the neighborhood for a quick, early morning latte

Our favorite place to eat in Rockwall! The food and lattes are always delicious and the staff is great. Thank you Lilly and Becca for always being the sweetest servers to us!

I went here with 2 of my friends. We dined in and had brunch. I order the chai tea and I have never had such great chai tea. The food was on point. Great brunch spot on the square.

Came by yesterday after not being able to get service at Fable and Fire. Super fast, good customer service and good coffee. Glad I left and came to Book Club!
$6 for two pieces of toast? Total bill was almost $30, for an egg dish and toast â no beverages at all, just those two things. Goes to show how bad the economy has gotten, and how out of touch with reality people are, that theyâll put up with that. Seriously â $6 for two small pieces of toasted bread.
And OMG, could the seating be any less comfortable? Iâm so over this trend of using flat wooden planks on iron frames, and seat backs that are straight up at a 90° from the seat. But, I suppose âform over functionâ is uniquely popular these days, particularly in the DFW.
Guess if I want a decent, nontoxic breakfast at a decent price, Iâll just have to make it myself.

We love this place! Weâre here 1-2 times per week like clockwork. Weâve cycled through a few different servers over the years, but they are all amazing. Currently, Becca is our go-to and does an awesome job!
The entire menu here is fantastic. Whether youâre in the mood for breakfast or lunch, you canât go wrong with anything you choose. Itâs all incredibly consistent given they make everything from scratch and utilize fresh, local ingredients.
These things alone would be reason for us to be regulars, but their coffee and tea options set it all over the top. I recommend The Local!
Thank yâall for being so great. Keep it up!

Wanted to try somewhere new to catch up with a friend and the Book Club Cafe did not disappoint. Coffee was great, food was even better and our server was the best! Atmosphere is super inviting, so much so that we overstayed our welcome. They do have a 1.5 hour max on table time during their peek hours which is totally understandable as they do get busy. Reservations during their peek hours is highly recommended. 10/10 will be back!
