The hostess gave me a stern order to wait as I asked to be seated accompanied by the same type of look. I freezed thinking what did I do wrong?! Then 1/2 a second later she said okay let’s go. On the way to the table I’m reflecting on the situation maybe she’s having a bad day.
In an effort to help the restaurant and the public I offered feedback to the floor manager at the time.

Love this spot for the HERBIVORE! I'm not even a vegetarian or vegan in the slightest and I come to the bookclub cafe just for this sandwich made with carrots and garlic and spinach, the veggies are all tender and flavorful. The bun has a crisp outside then soft inside. My gf is tired of hearing me suggest this place to eat honestly. That good
